Mutton pulao recipe


  • Mutton (Gardan)-big pieces 4
  • Rice-1/2 kg
  • Yogurt-250 grams
  • Onion-2
  • Green chili-2
  • Ginger garlic paste-2tbsp
  • Tez pataa-2 to 3
  • Clove-4 to 5
  • Big Cardamom-3 to 4
  • Cinnamon-2 to 3
  • Black pepper (chopped)-1tsp
  • Black Pepper-1 tsp
  • Cumin-1tsp
  • Clarified butter (Ghee) 1/2 cup
  • Salt-to taste

Cooking Instructions

Take a pan and fry onion in it till it gets golden brown, take a pan and add oil in it, than take tez pataa, cardamom, cinnamon, long, cumin and add in it, fry it.

Add gardan in it along with ginger garlic paste and cook it for some while, than add water as required that makes the gardan soft.

When it is soft take out all the water and separate the gardan from all other ingredients.

Now add ghee in a pan, than add onion in it and fry it till it gets golden brown, than add green chillies, yogurt, both type of black pepper and salt and cook it nicely.

Add rice in it, and than gardan. cook it till rice are ready, take it out in a dish and garnish it with fried brown onion.
