Chicken Kebab recipe


  • 2 lbs of chicken breast
  • Lettuce, tomato and onion
  • To marinate:
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. of vinegar
  • Sweet pepper
  • Cumin and pepper
  • 2 tbsp. of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt
  • White sauce (tzarziki):
  • 2 Greek yogurts
  • 1/2 minced cucumbers (w/o seeds)
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. of fresh minced dill
  • Red sauce:
  • Processed tomato
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp of spicy pepper or Tabasco sauce
  • Black pepper
  • 3 tbsp of sherry vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • 8 pita breads

Cooking Instructions

First prepare the marinade and marinate the chicken or meat for 24 hours in the fridge. If you are preparing them in brochettes make sure the pieces are not too small.

Cut the lettuce, tomato and onion in julienne. You can make the brochettes on the broiler or in the grill.

If you are making brochettes, add the green peppers, onion and pineapple.

For the white sauce: It is prepared with Greek or white yogurt, sugar-free. Mince the cucumber (w/o seeds), fresh dill, crushed garlic, salt and pepper.

For the red sauce: * Mix the processed vinegar, pepper, olive oil and spicy pepper
