Ajwain, salt, flour and melted ghee should be mixed in a bowl till the mixture starts forming breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, the beaten curd and water should be combined. Tough dough should be kneaded out of the flour salt mixture.
The dough should be covered with a wet piece of cloth for about half an hour.
Balls should be made out of the dough and it should be rolled into one-fourth thick bread that is the size of a medium pizza.
They should be cut vertically and then horizontally with the help of a knife so that diamond shaped strips are obtained.
Oil should be heated in a pan. These strips should be fried in small batches on medium flame till they turn brown and crisp.
Excess oil should be removed by placing them on a tissue paper.
