Allu k Chilkon ki Tahiri recipe


  • Potato (Allu)-1/2kg (take potato’s skin cut into thin slices)
  • Rice (Banaspati)-1/2 kg (Leave rice in water for 20 minutes) * Turmeric-1 tbsp
  • Salt- As required * Green Chili (chopped)-4
  • Black Pepper (whole)-4
  • Fennel seeds (grind)-1tsp
  • Onion (chopped)-2
  • Red chili (ground)-1tbsp
  • Ginger/Garlic paste-1tbsp
  • Lemon-2
  • Coriander (chopped)-1 bunch
  • Cardamom-2
  • Black Cumin-1/2 tsp
  • Oil-1 cup

Cooking Instructions

Take a bowl, heat up oil in it. Put onion into it and golden brown it and put it in a paper.

After that add cumin, ginger/garlic paste, Garam Masala, turmeric, red chili in oil and cook it for a while. Now add some quantity of water.

When water got boil then add rice with salt and leave it until water gets dry.

Take Potato’s Skin and cut it into thin pieces. Now deep fry it in a frying pan.

When Rice got ready then dish out it and garnish it with potato’s skin, golden brown onion, coriander and lemon.
