Pineapple Chutney recipe


  • Pineapple (ananas) :- 1 small one
  • Sugar :- 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder (haldi) :- 1 teaspoon
  • Oil :- 3 teaspoon
  • Jeera (Cumin seed):- two teaspoon
  • Red chili powder:- 1 teaspoon
  • Flour :- 1 teaspoon
  • Saunf ( aniseed) :- 2 teaspoon
  • Rai (mustard seed):- 2 teaspoon
  • Methi seeds (fenugreek) :- ½ teaspoon
  • Onion seeds :- 2 teaspoon
  • Salt :- as per taste

Cooking Instructions

Take the pineapple and cut it into small pieces

Take oil and heat in a pan. Take half quantity of saunf, jeera, methi, rai, salt and onion seeds.

Sauté all these for a while and then to this add pineapple pieces, chili powder, turmeric, sugar, salt and two cups of water.

Keep cooking till pineapple is done, and if required add more water till it is cooked completely

Take water and mix maida and add this to chutney.

The other half quantity needs to be roasted and then need to made into a powder. Add this to the chutney.
