Raspberry and Strawberry chutney recipe

Ingredients

  • Strawberries :- 250 gms
  • Raspberries :- 250 gms, with shells
  • Water :- 11/2 cup
  • Red chili powder (Lal mirch) :- ½ tsp
  • Sugar (Cheeni):- 13/4 cup
  • Cardamoms (big elaichi) :- 2 nos
  • Salt (Namak) :- 3 tsp
  • Garlic (Lasun) :- 2 cloves chopped
  • Ginger (Adrak) :- 2 tsp cut in long slices
  • Raisins (Kishmish) :- 4 tsp
  • Almonds (Badam) :- 6 nos, blanched
  • Dates (Khajoor) :- 8 nos
  • Vinegar (Sirka) :- 1 cup

Cooking Instructions

he shells of raspberries needs to be removed

Clean and cook the raspberries on low flame with garlic, ginger and water till it becomes tender.

Mash and add sugar, crushed cardamoms, vinegar, red chili powder, almonds, raisins, dates and mashed strawberries. Keep cooking till it is thick.

Cool it and pour everything into a jar.
