Beef (Nalli) Paye recipe

Ingredients

  • Beef Paye 2
  • Ginger paste 3 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Onions (chopped) 1/2 kg
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds (grounded) 2 tsp
  • Red chili (grounded) 2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tbs
  • Whole all spice
  • Black pepper (grounded) 2 tsp
  • Cumin (grounded) 2 tsp
  • Aniseed (sauf) (grounded) 2 tsp
  • Dry ginger 1 tsp
  • Curd 2 cups
  • Bay Leaves 2

Cooking Instructions

Mix all the spices in curd. Put paye in a pan with mixed curd and sufficient water and let it cook covered on low heat until tender.

In the end heat ghee in a frying pan and fry onion in it till golden brown.

Put ghee in paye. Garnish with ginger, lemon quarters and green chillies. Serve hot with naan.
