Mango Curry recipe

Ingredients

  • Mangoes 2-3 small or 150 gm (cubed)
  • Coconut, grated 1/2
  • Cummin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Gramflour 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Fresh mango juice 3/4 cup
  • Curry leaves fried 8-10
  • Jaggery 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

Grind the coconut to a paste along with cummin seeds and green chillies.

Add a little water to gram flour and make paste.

Heat oil in a pan and saute the paste, ginger, turmeric powder, mango cubes and mango juice.

Add the gramflour paste to thicken the gravy.

Bring to a boil then add curry leaves, salt and the jaggery.

Mix well, remove from heat and serve hot.
