Cook the Dal in a pressure cooker with enough water. Add turmeric powder to this
Once cooked, mash the Dal.
Take the garlic cloves and chop finely.
Take pan, put ghee in it. To this add dry red chilies, cumin seeds and garlic cloves. Keep frying till they splutter.
Add Dal to this and add salt and 2 full cups of water.
Cook the mixture, till Dal is boiled completely. Once done add Jaggery and then cook again for close to 5 mns.
Once cooked and cooled, add little lemon juice to it and serve it.
