Mix together grated carrots and cabbage. Squeeze as much water from them as possible.
Add 1 tbsp corn starch, salt and some chopped chillies.
Make small rounds or koftas from this mixture
Deep fry these balls in a wok. Drain excess oil and keep them aside.
In another pan, heat about 2 tablespoons oil. Then sauté spring onions, garlic and green chillies in it.
Add Ajinomoto, soya sauce, pepper, salt, water and sugar. Bring this to a boil.
Make slurry with 1 tbsp corn flour and half cup water. Add this to the boiling sauce.
Gradually add fried koftas/ balls to this gravy.
Let this cook for about 3-4 mins.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve very hot.
