Cooked roti recipe


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup water

Cooking Instructions

In a karhai bring the water to boil with salt .

Add the flour & stir quickly making sure the flour has absorbed all the water.

Make a lumpy dough & remove from heat.

Sprinkle some flour on a surface & knead the flour to form a sticky lumpy dough while it''s still hot.

Divide the dough into small ball & roll out thin roties.

Heat a Tava & cook your roties till light brown on both sides.

Remove from tava & circle it around open fire from all sides & u will notice the roties rise.

Remove & wrap the roties in a cloth.Serve with Sabzi or curries.
