Tawa Imli Gosht recipe


  • Beef (pasanday)-1 kg
  • Tamarind paste-1 cup
  • Papaya Paste-1/2 cup
  • Onion-2
  • Red Pepper Flask-6 to 8
  • Black Pepper-8 to 10
  • Cinnamon-1 to 2
  • Little Cardamom-5 to 6
  • Clove-5 to 6
  • Coriander seeds-2 tbsp
  • Funnel Seeds-1 tbsp
  • Green Chili-8 to 10
  • Garlic-5 to 6 cloves
  • Ginger-1 inch piece
  • Ghee-1 cup
  • Salt-To taste

Cooking Instructions

First of all take a kitchen hammer and apply it on beef pieces.

After that apply papaya paste on beef and leave it for 2 to 3 hours.

Now take a pan (tawa) put ghee and clove in it.

Add onion in ghee and fry it for a while.

When onion starts golden brown then add beef and cook it well.

After a few minutes remove beef from ghee.

Take a blender put tamarind syrup, red pepper flask, black pepper, cinnamon, little cardamom, coriander seeds, funnel seeds, garlic, ginger salt and blend it in.

Put all the paste in pan (tawa) and cook it for 4 to 5 minutes.

After that add beef again in pan and cook it until beef gets soft.

Now add green chili, coriander and covered it from the cover for 1 to 2 minutes.Dish is ready to eat.
