Mutton Mirch recipe


  • 1/2 kg mutton.
  • 1 med sized onion chopped and fry it till brown.
  • 1 med sized tomato ground.
  • Yogurt 350 gms.
  • Red chilli pwd 2 tsp.
  • Ginger /garlic paste 1 tbsp.
  • Corriander 1 tb sp.
  • Cumin 1 tb sp.
  • 8 Hari mirch(green chilies) split and deseeded.
  • Oil 1/2 cup.
  • Salt to taste.

Cooking Instructions

Mix yogurt,red chilli pwd, salt , ginger / garlic pastewith mutton and leave it for 2 hours.

Grind the corriander n cumin seed n fill the hari mirch with this pwd.

Put the rest of the powder in the marinade.

Hot oil in the pan n put the tomato paste n cook it till 3 min n then add the mutton marinade n leave it to be cooked till 45 min at low heat.

At the end add the filled hari mirch n chopped brown onions n leave it for 5-7 more minutes.

Enjoy it with tandoori roti.
