chicken sajji recipe


  • Whole chicken with skin 1
  • Ginger/garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice ½ cup
  • Vinegar ¾ cup
  • Meat tenderizer 1 tsp
  • Chat masala as required
  • Salt 2 tbsp

Cooking Instructions

Soak chicken for 1 hour in a pot filled with water.

After an hour add lemon juice, ginger/garlic paste, meat tenderizer, salt and vinegar

In the pot and leave the chicken to soak for another hour.

Take chicken out of the pot and bake in a ore-heated oven at 180 c for 45 minutes.

Take chicken sajji out of the oven; sprinkle chat masala and lemon over it and serve.
