Lab e Sheereen recipe


  • Colorful Vermicelli-1cup
  • Vanilla custard powder-2 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream-1/2 cup
  • Jelly (red and yellow)-2 packets
  • Milk-1/2 kg
  • Sapodillas (mud apples)-2
  • Pineapple-4slices
  • Strawberries-6
  • Banana-2
  • China Grass-12gram

Cooking Instructions

Put China Grass in a pot with water and then boil it.

After that in another pot, empty one of the jelly packets in it.

Cook at least for 2 minutes while stirring it continuously.

In another pot repeat this process with the other jelly, and then refrigerate both of them.

Heat the water in a separate pot and add vermicelli to it.

When it becomes tender take it out.

Cut sapodillas, bananas, pineapples, strawberries and jellies into pieces.

Put them in a separate bowl. Put little quantity of milk in a bowl and dissolve custard powder in it.

Heat the remaining milk in a pot and add sugar to it. Add custard when the sugar gets dissolved, and keep on stirring it.

Then take big chunks of ice in a bowl and pour hot custard in it and stir it for at least 10 minutes.

Don’t let the custard set. Add fresh cream to the custard and mix well. Put custard in the bowl along with fruits and add vermicelli as well.

Then finally place lab-e-Sheereen in a serving dish and garnish it with jelly and serve.
