Zeera Pulao recipe

Ingredients

  • Oil 5 Tablespoon
  • Cumin Seeds 2 Teaspoon
  • Basmati Rice 1 Cup
  • Add Salt To Taste
  • Turmeric Powder To Taste

Cooking Instructions

Clean and wash the Rice in 3-4 changes of Water.

Soak in 2 cups of clean Water for 25-30 Min.

Heat Oil in a wok. Add the Cumin Seeds.

Add a pinch of Turmeric Powder & immediately add the Rice.

Add Water & Salt (as per taste) & stir slowly.

Let it cook on high flame for 7-8 Min. or just till the Water is almost absorbed. Lower the flame & cover the wok. Let it cook for 4 more
Min. on a slow flame till the Water dries up.

The Rice is ready to eat.

Garnish it with a fresh Chopped Cilantro Leaves & serve it sleaming hot
