Veg Pulao recipe


  • 3 tsp Oil
  • Whole Garam Spices
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • Cauliflower cut in to florets
  • Green Beans
  • Carrot
  • Frozen Corn
  • Green Peas
  • Paneer cut in to cubes
  • 2 slit Green Chillies
  • 2 cups water + 1 oz extra

Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 mts.

Heat oil add cumin seeds, whole spices, add sliced onion and cook till onion becomes translucent.

Add ginger garlic paste saute till raw smell from ginger garlic goes away.

Add veggies, mix, sprinkle some salt, cover and cook for 3 mts.

Add green chillies, paneer, mix now add soaked rice, mix and add two cups of water.

Add salt to taste, some dry fruits, add 2 tsp oil, mix and boil tiil the time water starts to evaporate from rice.

Sprinkle few splash of water, cover and simmer on low heat for 10 mts.

After 10 mts turn of the gas heat and wait for another 10 mts to open the lid.

Garnish with green peas and serve with raita or pickle!


Choose veggies of your choice.

Make use of homemade ghee for aromatic rice.
