Mutton Madrasi Curry recipe

Ingredients

  • Mutton (cut into small pieces) 800 gms
  • Large onion (sliced) 1
  • Oil 2 tsps
  • Cloves garlic (sliced) 2
  • Green chilies (chopped) 4
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 3/4 tsp
  • Cloves 3
  • Ginger 1" piece
  • Red chilies and the seeds of 2 cardamoms 2
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

Fry the sliced onion in 2 tbsp.

oil and add cloves, sliced garlic; chopped green chilies,

coriander seeds, turmeric powder, crushed cloves, ginger and red chillies.

Add the cardamoms. After 5 minutes, add the mutton pieces and enough water.

Let it simmer adding salt and tamarind pulp, till it gets cooked.
