Madrasi Handi recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 600g Chicken
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 3 Green chilies
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 5 Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp Kalonji
  • 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1 tbsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • 1/2 cup Stock
  • 5g Green Coriander
  • 1 tbsp Butter

Cooking Instructions

In a pan, add onion, ginger garlic paste and saute.

Now, add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now, add salt, red chili powder, green chili, yogurt, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and cook for a while.

Now, add tomato paste, kalonji, kasuri methi, fennel seeds, mustard seeds and simmer for 4-5 minutes.

Now, add cream, stock, green coriander, butter and cook for a while.

Your tasty Madrasi Handi is ready to serve.
